Compete in the Beta Alpha Psi & Wipfli Ethics Case Competition!
All participants will get a $25 gift card and a t-shirt simply for competing, and winning teams can win up to $300 per team member!
Students will work in groups to analyze an ethics related business problem and present their solution to a set of judges. The ethics case competition is a great way to make new friends, network with professionals, and learn more about ethics in a fun environment! You can sign up to compete with your friends and form a team of 3-5 people, or you can sign up as an individual, and we will place you on a team with other individuals.
The important dates to remember for the case competition are the kickoff date, September 26th, and the competition date, which is October 6th. At the kickoff event, each team will be assigned a mentor to assist them throughout the process of competing in the competition. Mentors are available to answer any questions participants may have and guide all competitors from the time of the kickoff event until the competition day. The attire for the kickoff event is business casual.
If you do not have business casual wear, the Twardowski Career Development Center, located in room 225 of the Lawrence Center, offers career clothing through the WCU Resource Pantry.
On the competition day, each team will be assigned to compete and present their presentation in front of the judges in an assigned room in the Business and Public Management Center. At 3:30 on October 6th, the awards ceremony will be held in room 101 of the Business and Public Management. Here, all participants will be recognized for their time and efforts, and the winning teams will be announced.
